![]() ![]() While I'm not in any way disappointed in the guitar (playability, feel, or tone), the Broadtron pickups don't quite have the sparkle of the Filtertrons. It plays like a $2000 guitar, not a $500 one. ![]() ![]() I haven't had to adjust anything on it, the action is perfect, the intonation is perfect, the neck is perfect. I then picked up a G2655T because damn if this isn't the sexiest-looking guitar I've ever seen (and certainly ever owned!). IMO it's the perfect balance between single coils and Gibson-style humbuckers - some good "girth" to the tone, but without sacrificing a crisp chimey top end and note definition across all playing styles. My first Gretsch was a G5232T, with blacktop Filtertrons, and I fell absolutely in love with the tone of the guitar. ![]()
